It started with a date.

When we first started dating, making candles was just something fun for us to do together. There wasn’t a business plan behind it. We weren’t thinking about sales, websites, or where it might lead. We were just two people getting to know each other and making candles.

Somehow, that little date turned into our first sale.

And then another.

Before we knew it, we were building a business together while still trying to keep up with everything else in our lives. We both worked full-time, and my girlfriend was also a full-time college student. A lot of the business was built after work, between classes, late at night, and on weekends. We learned as we went, usually by making mistakes first.

There were plenty of moments when we were tired and overwhelmed, but there was also something really special about watching this little thing we started together slowly become something real.

Within two years, we went from making candles together on a date to building a business doing six figures a year.

But the numbers aren't really our favorite part of the story.

Somewhere in between all the candles, orders, late nights, and figuring it out as we went, we built a life together too.

We got married.

And eventually, we were able to buy our first home together.

Sometimes we look back and laugh at how all of this started. We definitely didn't sit down on that first candle making date and think, “This is going to change our lives.”

But in a lot of ways, it did.

And Kindle Candle Supply is the next part of that story.

We remember what it felt like when we were starting out searching through countless YouTube videos trying to understand waxes and wicks, doing the math over and over, reading other makers' experiences, and wondering if we were doing any of it right.

So we're building the kind of resource we wish we'd had back then.

Not because we know everything. We definitely don't.

But we've learned a lot along the way, and we believe candle makers shouldn't have to figure everything out alone.

If Kindle Candle Supply can save another maker a little time, help them avoid one of the mistakes we made, or give them the confidence to keep going, then this little idea has become something even more meaningful to us.

Because candles brought us a lot more than we ever expected.
